Starting over
I guess it was bound to happen—Friday was the first time in 8 weeks I missed a Daily D6. But that’s okay. We’re pushing forward with a fresh adventure today.
Each week, my partner and I talk to our 11-year-old nephew, who always asks what we’ve learned. More than once, he’s reminded us: “It’s okay to break a streak—as long as you start again.”
That gentle wisdom hit me when I realized I hadn’t written a new issue or prepped a backup. I had a choice: let it derail me or accept the slip and keep going.
I’m choosing to follow his advice. If you ever find yourself in a similar moment, I hope you do too.

Weekly Encounter
While following a narrow forest path, you spot an old wooden sign half-buried in the brush. It points toward a small trail you hadn’t noticed before, marked simply: "The Listening Tree." Curious, you step off the main road and follow the path until you reach a massive, ancient tree with deep grooves in its bark—almost like ear shapes carved by time.
