Socialization Overload
This past weekend, the entire Some Untitled Collective crew gathered in Baltimore for the Unpub game conference. It’s a con dedicated to game designers looking to playtest their prototypes, gather feedback, and pitch to publishers.

The Some Untitled crew
We brought the latest version of Rescue to the con for playtesting and building interest. The high-level takeaway is that the con was a huge success. What I find most challenging about these events is the requirement to be “on” for multiple days straight.
So with that, I’m off to rest and recharge <3
🌑 Encounter
The glinting object turns out to be a shard of mirror, half buried in the dust. Your own face stares back at you, split down the middle by a crack. Past the columns, the chamber funnels into a corridor barely wide enough for your shoulders. The walls here are covered in scratch marks — not words, not patterns, just desperate lines carved by something that wanted out. The air is warmer than it should be.
What will you do?
Pocket the mirror shard — it might be useful later — Gain 2 XP
Run your fingers along the scratch marks to gauge their depth — Gain 1 XP
Accept the warmth and let it settle your nerves — Gain 1 AP
Force yourself through the corridor without stopping — Lose 1 AP
Squeeze too fast and catch your arm on a jagged edge — Lose 2 HP
Turn the mirror shard toward the dark ahead to see what reflects — No effect
