Dangers Lurk
Today marks the addition of enemies into the Daily D6 formula! A new table on the printable character sheet is now available to roll on when danger appears. As you place your features on your map each day, covering an “X” will trigger a risky but rewarding enemy encounter.
Each enemy grants a good amount of XP but costs you Action Points (AP). Every time you cover an “X” on the map, you determine both your AP loss and the enemy you will fight by rolling a single D6.
Like the journal prompts and encounters, these updates will be included in each week’s newsletter. Thank you so much for your support so far, and good luck!
🧭 Encounter: The Frostwind Crossing
A biting wind howls as you attempt to cross a vast, frozen plain. The horizon blurs in white, and movement becomes treacherous.
What do you do?
Brace against the storm and push forward. You reach shelter with grit. (+2 XP)
Build a snow shelter and wait it out. Rest restores your energy. (+2 AP)
Follow faint tracks across the snow. They lead you to a hidden path. (+1 XP, +1 AP)
Yell into the storm for guidance. Your voice vanishes in the wind; you lose morale. (–1 XP)
Light a torch against the cold. It gives you courage, but burns out quickly. (+1 XP)
Ignore the storm and wander aimlessly. You lose time and strength. (–1 AP)
