Building on last week’s theme of floating on, I’ve been reflecting on how often I drift into moments of dissociation as a form of “micro-recovery.” Finding space throughout your day; whether through movement, community care, quiet reflection, or a mix of all three, is essential for tending to yourself in small, meaningful ways, especially when the world can be so loud.

🪨 Encounter: The Echoing Stones
Along a hillside path, you stumble across a ring of large, flat stones arranged in a perfect circle. Each one bears a carved symbol; some familiar, some strange. A soft vibration hums through the ground as you step closer. A small sign nearby reads:
"Step onto one. Speak. Listen."
You step onto a stone and speak your name. A distant echo returns it, as if the land remembers.
🏅 Reward: +2 XPYou speak a goal aloud. The vibration beneath your feet sharpens—focused and steady.
🏅 Reward: +1 APYou shout a frustration. The wind stirs sharply, then stills. Something inside settles.
🏅 Reward: +2 XPYou remain silent, and the stone beneath you grows cold. You feel distant from yourself.
⚠️ Penalty: –1 XPYou try to speak and stutter. The echo that returns is distorted—it leaves a weight in your chest.
⚠️ Penalty: –2 APYou sing instead of speaking. The echo returns in harmony. You feel unexpectedly hopeful.
🏅 Reward: +3 XP
