What’s the score?
Another week down, another one ahead! Let’s talk about the updated scoring mechanic in Daily D6.
When designing the current version of the character sheet, I wanted each day’s activity to contribute to a visual snapshot of your week. That snapshot—built through the shapes you place—reflects how much AP you generated daily and how strategically you used it to maximize your score. It’s not intended to be a comprehensive review of your week, but it serves as a memento of the week you’ve had, good or bad.
This approach also makes the game element of the sheet more flexible and varied, without needing to overhaul the core system each time.
As with everything in Daily D6, it’s a work in progress. If anything feels unclear or underwhelming, I’d love your feedback—there’s a form linked below!

Weekly Encounter
Late at night, you stumble upon a quiet clearing lit by the full moon. At its center stands a smooth, circular mirror resting atop a stone pedestal. As you approach, your reflection flickers—sometimes showing you as you are, other times… not. An inscription along the edge reads:
“Face what you carry. Leave what you must.”
Roll your D6 to discover your fate or pay 3AP to skip the encounter
You reach out and touch the mirror. Your reflection smiles before you do. Something heavy lifts from your chest.
🏅 Reward: +2 APYou whisper a regret, and the mirror clouds over. When it clears, your reflection is still—but calmer.
🏅 Reward: +1 XPYou step away without interacting, but find your pack slightly lighter. Something is gone, though you don’t remember what.
🏅 Reward: +2 XPYou trace the edge of the mirror, and a hidden drawer opens below, revealing a silver token marked with a strange rune.
🏅 Reward: +3 XPYou kneel and look into the mirror from below—your reflection offers you a wink and vanishes. The surface goes still.
🏅 Reward: +1 APYou speak your name aloud. The mirror brightens and reflects a path behind you, now illuminated by moonlight.
